'with the Romulan command ship disabled and it's crew captured, the remaining vessels flee from the superior firepower of TWO Federation-class Dreadnoughts and their battlegroups.
Leaving the U.S.S. Federation and her wing to continue to patrol the Neutral Zone border,the 'Confederation' and her group,including the 'Enterprise', return to a Federation outpost,orbiting a barren class D world,just 2 hours from the border,to undergo repairs,replenish supplies and rotate crew to new assignments...because the escalation of tensions with the Romulans has prompted a very visible response; Starbase 157 is a hive of activity and rumour, as small and medium-sized Starfleet,Diplomatic and civil vessels buzz around the dock where the 'Confederation' is undergoing repairs to her primary and secondary hulls,as well as those of the recently arrived Heavy-Cruisers 'Essex' and Excalibur'.
'but all the talk in the rec halls and the Starbase's conference rooms is of the imminent arrival of more,heavy-weight reinforcements...and that Starfleet didn't commission 'just' 20 Dreadnoughts...and that the U.S.S. Majesty; NCC-2121,is enroute..

'so...this is again inspired by 's brilliant image: [link] and a continuation of this image of my series of images: [link] and was 'just' going to be a quick render to play with archangel72367's V4 of the U.S.S. CONFEDERATION...so I figured add a couple of shuttles,maybe bung it in drydock so that the damage caused in 'escalation' [link] but then things sort-of got away from me!!
there actually IS a 'TAS' warp-shuttle in the Confed's shuttlebay..and two guys on the top of the saucer repairing the Romulan's disrupter damage!! we also have a civilian aeroshuttle and a 'standard shuttle' from the 'Enterprise' departing a very different speeds whilst a Vulcan Diplomatic vessel seperates in order to dock!
